At ACO we maintain our camp as a safe space to work games, learn on court, discuss plays, positioning, mechanics, rules, philosophies and other basketball-related topics. We expect campers to respect their peers as officials and more importantly, as people. We create this space to ask questions, learn, listen and develop- what you choose to do with this opportunity is up to you.
The 101
We heard your request and we are now offering THREE hours of on court instruction!
July 24th: 8:00am - 11:00am
An introductory pre-camp session for new to one year officials, focused on building a strong foundation in women’s collegiate officiating through rules knowledge, mechanics, court coverage, and essential professionalism.
Session 1
July 24 - 25
Recommended (not required) for officials new to officiating with 3 years experience or less.
Session 2
July 25 - 26
Recommended (not required) for officials who have officiated college for 3+ years.
The 201
July 24th: 9:00am - 11:00am
A next-step development session for officials ready to move beyond the basics, strengthening confidence and consistency through applied 3-person mechanics, coverage work, reporting, and professional growth.
